Wishing you lovelies a very sweet Valentine's today ♥
I was delighted to see my workplace decorated with a very rosy atmosphere earlier today. It was certainly quite an effort for those who planned the surprise. They had a rose stalk with a petite, glass vase by each of our desks and a lot more stalks just waiting at the counter. Just in case...one of us wants to take one home. I guess...why not? ;) Hope you all are having a wonderful day spending with your loved ones :)
ps. I discovered this wonderful heart-shaped wallpaper DIY pom poms right after work today and I thought it's a marvelous idea to share it with all of you today.
STEP 1 // Stack 4 to 8 {I always use more to create a fuller pom-pom but for the hear you would need larger and smaller pom-poms} 20-by-30-inch sheets of tissue. Make 1 1/2-inch-wide accordion folds, creasing with each fold. You will need a total of 30 pom-poms. Optional: mIx tissue paper in different colors.
STEP 2 // Fold an 18-inch piece of floral wire in half, and slip over center of folded tissue; twist. With scissors, trim ends of tissue into rounded shapes.
STEP 3 // Separate layers, pulling away from center one at a time.
STEP 4 // Bend wire into a loop to fit around napkin, and twist end around loop to secure.
xx
Catherine.
